Description
The "SafeHeel" protective cover has been specially developed for the shearing period or coat change - phases in which horses can react particularly sensitively to spurs or boot friction. Instead of a spur protection belt, which puts additional strain on the horse, "SafeHeel" offers a simple solution directly on the rider's boots.
Practical application"SafeHeel" is simply pulled over the heel of the boot and fixed in place with a wide Velcro fastener. The inside is lined with soft synthetic fur, which makes contact with the horse's body comfortable and gentle - particularly important for clipped or sensitive horses.
Advantages over conventional solutionsIn contrast to spur protection girths, "SafeHeel" does not cause heat build-up, pressure points or chafing. No additional accessories are required on the horse, which preserves comfort and appearance. The design also prevents the attachment of spurs and is more cost-effective than many alternatives.
Technical data"SafeHeel" is made of 60 % neoprene, 30 % polyester and 10 % Velcro. It is available in black and comes in one size - suitable for all standard riding boots.
